Spreading the Word on Employee Substance Abuse Help

Fortunately, we live in a world where those in pain can get help. Unfortunately, many people are becoming addicted to that help.  As employers, we need to be informed as to where our employees can turn if they unwittingly find themselves in this situation without making specific recommendations that could put you at legal risk if something went wrong.

HELP.ORG is that resource.  Launched in 2013, Help.org was started to provide people nationally with trusted, real-world, evidence-based drug rehabilitation information from healthcare providers and professionals. They use personal patient perspectives and insights from those to promote sober living.

So much media reporting is based on advertising which often skews reality in the favor of the advertiser. HELP.ORG does not accept advertising or have corporate sponsors for this reason.
