You may be at a point where you are exhausted from doing it all and need to bring in help - someone more qualified than your cousin or a friend of a friend - so you post an ad on Indeed, but:

  • You just don’t have time to check Indeed every day

  • You’re overwhelmed by the number of applicants you are getting, or you’re not getting enough

  • You get someone to print out the applicants, but the resumes are sitting in your inbox or on your desk

  • You find a few good candidates but they “ghost” you, are no-shows, or just took another job

  • The interview is dominated by YOU talking, rather than the candidate

  • The interviewee seems nice, so you hire them only to find they are not really qualified…they just know how to interview well

If you have experienced any of these issues, your next step may be to start using some tools and put a process in place to ensure you get enough qualified candidates, saving you time and money.  This does not mean you need to start using a recruiter; recruiters are expensive and tend to throw resumes at you which doesn’t solve the problem.
